What is a Buyer's Agent?
Buying a home in Pierce County Washington
A Buyer's agent is a Realtor® that represents only the Buyer in a Real Estate Transaction. A Buyer's agent works for the buyer's best interest and receives their compensation from their Broker in the form of a Co-Broker share of commission offered by the seller. Most often a buyer's agent represents a home buyer in a transaction without any direct compensation from the Buyer.
This is often misunderstood by the public, and understandably so, as most real estate matters can be quite complex.
As Your buyer's agent we will diligently attempt to find you a home, and negotiate on your behalf with the Seller's agent to obtain the best possible price and terms.
A Seller's agent is duty bound to negotiate on the Seller's behalf. A Seller's agent will work diligently to negotiate the best possible terms and conditions for the Seller.
As an educated buyer attempting to get the most house for your money with the very best possible terms, Do not call on signs for more info! The person that picks up the phone is working for the Seller! Anything you tell that agent will work against you if you ultimately decide to make an offer on that home.
